Spotted a major blunder by Daily Mail article about this coin saying special piece commissioned worth £15k. Looks like I will be phoning the Royal Mint tomorrow and asking for another special piece to be made. Anyone else fancy buying 1kg Gold for £1k? Anyone at Royal Mint refuses take the order state Daily Mail has the price listed on the article…

I think referring to the coin domination value instead price to commission such as piece. But I would sure like to know how much Royal Mint charged this special customer.

I'd love to see the coin collection this one is going into, if they can spend about £1million on one coin I shudder to think what else is in it, Edward VIII or QEII coronation sovereigns maybe?
