Any bullion dealer near Oxford?

Recommended Posts

Do you guys know of any bullion dealer in or around Oxford? Don't mind travelling a bit, within reason, I'm a biker and could be a good excuse for a weekend ride.

While I am happy to buy online, I would much rather show up in person at a local shop, building a relationship with a local dealer would be preferable and on top I wouldn't mind shaving off the cost of shipping.

Pretty sure buying on the forum ( unless after specific coins) will save you a few pound.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Your nearest dealers are likely to be in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and there are several.
HGM is in Hatton Garden London so the closest to Oxford City.

Thanks for the info mate, much appreciated.

Looking online I've come across this site, apparently there is a vault service already present in other cities that had planned to open in Oxford this year, I have got in touch with them and I have been told that they had to delay to 2023 due to the Big Cough.

For the time being I will probably plan a trip to Brum at some point, but it's good to know that someone is planning to open in the area.

Don't seem to have any prices on their bullion. The company is merrion gold from Ireland. Be careful when being drawn in by click bait. They maybe perfectly respectable but no prices and the article being written in 2017 is not worth the risk. Better moving on.

Indeed, mostly was for reference in case anyone has dealt with them in the past in the other locations.

As stated, I'm going to ignore them until something materialise, especially as I am still forming a plan and my initial move might not even be with bullions, a friend suggested looking into silver scraps and I am following up on that, is an idea that has potential.

Generally speaking, I probably will not buy anything until I have a more defined idea of what I have got myself into.
