I would love to see the collection together. Which 7 did you choose.

I chose to do 10x 1/10ths from 10 different countries for the ounce. Then added the matching dates in 1oz silver.

So another update on my 10x world 1/10th collection. With the help of @PapaLazarou and @James32 I've manged to get within a hares breath of my final goal. All I need now is a 2018 1oz silver philly and I'm completed. @PapaLazarou and @James32 were a huge help with a triangle of a trade between us all. Paps came through with the 2 krugs and all the caps for my silver in all the sizes I needed. He's got plenty more where these came from if you need any. Time to bore you with my pictures now after rambling....

Can you send the 2003 brit and the French coin and get conserved? That's your next step. Then we are done.

Thought about that.... not sure it's worth it. The French one is odd, it was in a presentation box but open to the air in the front which I thought was sealed in some sort of film but I wasn't. Only the back which I'd why the back look clean but yhe front not so much.

Godards polish? Never tried it but @Paul swears by it.

Or try boiling in a pot of water...not sure what that would actually do 😆 @stefffana would it help?

I'm open yo suggestions but worried it could damage them or take away the character that people like about having some tarnish to them.

I must admit.. I quite like the tarnish on the brit but the French one looks off just tarnished on the one side.

Yeah tarnish is good if a nice libertad or a 200 year old crown. But right now you have an immaculate set minus those two🙂 either clean them up or set all ten on the outside window sill and rust them all 🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣..... Its because the brit is sterling silver and the French is only 90% silver. Much more prone to discolouring so if I cleaned them would it just happen again?

Everyone will tell you to not clean, but if it is not pleasant for you, you can clean the french one with boiling water, sodium bicarbonate and aluminium foil. Works well, but don't scratch it, use only very soft cotton.

I might watch some YouTube videos and see how brave I feel. They really aren't easy to come by and the price for them is heavy. I don't want to mess it up. I know I took it out of the box but it was a stupid box anyway lol. Open to the wind up front and sealed at the back. At least in the cap it would tone evenly if it did happen again after cleaning.

Not sure that's true if placed in capsule and stored well. But even if so, we ( you ) can get them conserved once a year?😂
