1/10th coin run.

@Mtaybar and @Dakaras!

I have found another very interesting and unusual one from belgium.😁

I have made an offer of £171.95 plus shipping = £175, but I've been refused. It is not point to make another offer, even the coin is top A+++, because If I will buy it, I will add another 10% for one of you and the final price will be too high.

So, I am the middle man and I am stepping back.

It is your move, guys!

The coin is totally 5.3g, having an inner circle of gold .900 (21.6ct), 3.47g, an  equivalent of 1/10oz gold, and en external circle of silver .833 of 1.83g.

Technically, is suitable to be one of your coin run: 1/10oz gold, face value 10 Ecu, country of issue Belgium. Bingo!😁

seen it... my OCD wouldn't allow for a bi-metal to be in my 1/10th run 😂

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

Gold and silver, pirate!

Two very noble metals!

indeed, but better separate... I know technically a sov and krug are not pure but they have an even colour throughout 😂

True.

I have never tried to separate an inner off an outer. Who knows, maybe with a hammer...😁

Guys!

One technical question:

If a coin have equivalent 3.11g gold 1/10oz) in composition, but it is made from a lower alloy, that coin can qualify in your 1/10th oz run?😊

You thinking of  1oz 9ct ring?

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

a 1/10th Krugerrand is a fine example of 22 carrots with a parsnip to make up the two lost carrots...

I'm saying no, it's partly the 1/10th stamp on coin adds to the appeal for me

Nope. But this coin is 6.22g of .500 gold.

Technically, equivalent 1/10oz.

Like the coin and of course correct about the 1/10th , I'm going for 1/10 recognised coins, hence no 1/10th rounds in this run.

Only recognised? Difficult and expensive to find ten of them, unfortunately.

So, the Belize one will qualify or not for you?

Definitely isn't as easy as it sounds and some of these little coins can be quite expensive but I've seen bigger 1oz gold coins go for well over their actual gold value. I'm at the thicker end of the wedge now but hopefully I'll get there and have a nice little 10coin set to show for it.its all part of the collectors appeal I suppose.
