Was doing a search for something on the forum and this title popped which intrigued me.  I used to be a collector of 1/10ths.  Instead of collecting one from each country, I collected different designs, no matter the country.  This was where I got when I stopped collecting at the end of 2017 (or whenever the 2018 Somali elephant was released) and sold it all last year.  Just a copy and paste from spreadsheet.

A member on here bought mine.

I used to buy quite a bit from MA-Shops and German dealers.  Once Brexit came it was no longer worth the hassle.

Bleed'n ek! That's some impressive list. Good reference as well to anyone thinking about adding/starting a 1/10 collection and what's actually out there.

So this is where I'm at so far with my  1/10th coin run. The golds are all together and have been for a while but the 1oz silver equivalents with the same dates are not quite there. I was hoping to get them done this year but here we are. I'm missing a 2018 silver Austrian philharmonic, 2008 1oz silver le semeuse (not going to be easy to find) and a 1oz silver krugerrand (I need to swap my gold 1/10th krugerrand as the date on mine doesn't have a silver equivalent available due to them not existing 🤦🤣)

Nope...unfortunately...😓😓😓

I think his La Semeuse 50 Euro, 36g silver .900 can be found only year 2010.

https://eurocollection.shop/50-Semeuse-Argent-2010

For 2008 they issued only smaller coins, up to 15g, but I am not very sure and I have not time now for deeper researches.

I saw one for sale right around the time I bought the 1/10th from you. It was £70+ at the time though and I thought it was too expensive.  I watched it for a week. Should've just took it. Haven't seen another since.

2010 50 euro 36g silver .900 is good for your needs?

If yes, I will ask my berts in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, maybe I can do a swap for diversity with one of them.

I may have to if there really isn't any 2008 but I'm sure there is. If you've got contacts can you see if they would be able to find one please Bert?

By contacts he means crazy John and and Barry six toes down the boozer. They are already engraving a 2010 dude and now you are trying to change dates?

Price just doubled and Barry will call later for payment 😀 be warned though, he can't half chat.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

I think, according Numista, that:

15 Euro La Semeuse (15g, .900) was issued in 2008-2010. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3747.html

25 Euro La Semeuse (18g, .900) was issued only in 2009. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7349.html

50 Euro La Semeuse (36g, .900) was issued only in 2010. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11657.html.

I don't believe that they are 50 Euro 2008, but I will ask.😊

Having a discussion with @Mtaybarabout collecting a series of 1/10th Oz gold coins. After snagging a 1/10th eagle from @BullionBob it's become a target for me as well.

Aim is 10 coins from different countries and legal tender types not rounds so where do you go once you have the must haves.

Brittania, Maple, Eagle, Krugerrand, Philly, Libertad, Kangaroo (or nugget), Panda.

where next? An elusive Kiwi?

Debate 🙂

Is there such a thing as a 1/10oz kiwi?

It's also worth noting that NZ Mint is not a state owned mint like Oz's Perth Mint, but a private company.  I'm pretty sure NZ still gets all its official circulated coinage done by the Royal Munt.  It was still doing that until at least the 1990s and if you hunt around on t'interwebs you can find a paper about NZ coinage making an appearance in the Trial of the Pyx.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

Here's one.

https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/antiques-collectables/coins/new-zealand-decimal/gold/listing/3887018501

You should be able to set up an account on TradeMe - see if the vendor is willing to ship to the UK.

These are the contact details for the vendor.  They're about 13 hours ahead of us in Blighty at the moment, so if you give them a call sometime about 8-9pm tonight they should be in.  For reference, the $NZ is worth about 52p at the moment.

If that's $390 nzd then it's about £202 gbp. Be interesting to see how much t goes for in the end.... 7hrs left. Not sure what the postage etc would be on it though.

You could call the vendor and buy it directly, I should imagine.  Correction: run out of somebody's house.
