Ive just had a look and they do free 2nd class postage signed for. Prices seem pretty good

I've used these guys a few times and they are very cheap compared to many but their stock is very hit or miss.

1/2 sovs are much better value for money if you just want bullion value.

I have a 2004 1/10 maple but I would want £160 for it.

Half sovereign say £175  ÷ 3.65g = £47.9 per gram ( that's without post )

1/10 brit at £147 ( price I paid) ÷3.1g = £47.3 per gram 

I could be wrong but I think I did OK.

£147 is a very good price. I haven't seen many that low.

Save a little longer, 2 and a half months maybe if you’re buying a 1/10th oz gold coin and buy a sovereign instead.

Thats the best advice I could give.

You’ll pay less per gram of gold for a bullion sovereign than you will for a 1/10th oz gold coin.

You’ll pay less per gram of gold for a bullion sovereign than you will for a 1/10th oz gold coin.

I kinda calculated it the same because of the carat being reduced to 22 in the sovereign?

 

Although It would be nicer to have a slighter larger more practical coin like a half sov.
