Which to go for (in terms of likely appreciation): 2022 bullion double sovereign or . . .?

I agree with the full sov opinion, but it seems every man and his dog is buying the 2022. I can't see it gaining any more value other than it's value in gold. I may be wrong

The 2012 sold loads but they always retained a premium over standard issue. The premium drifts up and down.

I'm sure the same was thought regarding the 2002, 2005, 2012 etc... all now have a premium to some extent vs. other bullion years.  I only started stacking last year so have to pay the premiums from dealers or individuals alike if I want any of these.

As others start stacking in the future the 2022 will be similar, any coins I'm buying this year and to some extent early next will be 2022 for this reason and in a few years time...

Looking to complete a date run of Bu Sovs and still require; 2010, 2011, 2018 & 2019

I try and keep to single sovs.  But I would recommend checking doubles especially the two pound proofs that sometimes go for way less then they should for proof coins.  They are double sovs, same weight, same size, same value (£2) but they do get overlooked.

Generally though unless its a bargain 1 sovs for me.
