🇩🇪️ For sale here is a nice Kingdom of Prussia 20 Mark featuring Kaiser König Friedrich III! 🇩🇪

Dated 1888-A, this 20 Mark is so archetypically Prussian and stands as a fantastic historical reminder of Imperial Germany! 🦅👑🇩🇪

These 20 Marks (more so the Wilhelm II types) were some of the last gold coins to be minted in Imperial Germany before the onset of the First World War. Prussia was the largest state of the German states, so Friedrich III, as King of Prussia, was also deemed German Emperor. This is why 20 Mark coins from German states other than Prussia only have 'König' on them rather than 'Kaiser König,' roughly translating as 'emperor king.'

The reverse of this coin is simply stunning, featuring Germany's crowned imperial eagle and oozing with Germanic might!

The mintage of this piece is 5,363,901.

This 20 Mark has a diameter of 22.5 mm and is comprised of 7.965 g of .900 gold. The current melt value on this beauty is, therefore, approximately £309.

Please feel free to check the Numista reference page for this coin out here at: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21755.html

All-in-all, this is a decent example of a Friedrich III 20 Mark and would make a phenomenal addition to any world gold collection or historical precious metals stack! A lovely piece! 🌟

Sale price is £355 plus postage at buyer’s cost, choice and risk.

Payment via bank transfer to UK business bank account.

Comment here or PM me to pick this coin up for yourself today!

Thank you! 🌟
