but silver to go have uk gbp account which is straight forward so im in two minds ??

Ah, I see.

It depends what the cost difference is, I use CurrencyFair for foreign currency transfers, very good value and rates.

Take a look if you fancy it, we do have a link with them and if you sign up via the link from this forum (can't link, I'm mobile at present) then the forum gets a small commission.

I have purchased from them before. They are a mint. Everything went ok, though the mint sealed roll of kooks arrived torn, must have happened during transit.

Cheapest place to order from depends on the size of the order and the exchange rate you get, by far probably a lot cheaper to use a broker like currencyfair rather than your bank, there are other brokers but I haven't found cheaper. Currencyfair automatically matches buyers and sellers, so they keep the spreads tight unlike other brokers.

so who do you favour chris

silver to go or Geiger as I order about 50 oz per visit ?? or are there better sites for 1oz silver coins pandas ect

Depends who is cheapest. From personal experience, Silver to go dispatch stuff much quicker, though I have only ordered once from Geiger.

This is how I find the cheapest;

First I decide what I want to buy. If it's on silver to go add it to the basket and you will instantly know the exact cost for that order.

Then check on gold.de (use chrome to translate) to find which dealers from it's list in Europe are the cheapest for that particular coin(s). Then you can go through to the dealers website and then use currencyfair.com to find how much the exact cost in GBP would be. Note that not all sites on gold.de ship to UK and some of the sites are only in German. But you can email the dealers even if their site is only in German as a lot of them speak at least basic English and will ship to UK.

Also compare the other popular sites, ESB as Danny mentioned. And Liberty Silver those don't appear on gold.de as far as I know as they are Estonian dealers.

I've ordered from Geiger Edelmetelle a few times, cost of delivery is 29euros so you will need to make a large order.

I would use currency Fair,  Geiger Edelmetelle have a choice of  4 banks for you to pay into.

They also have one member of staff who is good at English.  Payments take 3 working days to clear then about 3 more days for them to send the order out.

I have never had a problem with them.  If you do order from them let them know you only speak English, they sent me a separate Email in English explaining what to do.

All the items I have received from Geiger Edelmetelle have been in excellent condition.
