Hi All,

Thought it would be cool to create a thread where people can share parts or all of their asset portfolios so they can receive opinions (not of the financial advice nature) in the hope that people can have a diverse POV/view from different people across the country and the world should they wish. Also get to learn from other peoples allocations and strategies.

Asset portfolios can consist of the follow (not exhaustive) list:

- Stocks

- Bonds

- Funds (ETF’s, Index, Mutual)

- Real Estate

- Precious metals (of course!)

- Commodities

- Cryptocurrencies

- Collectibles (whiskey, rum, art, classic cars, watches, Pokemon cards etc)

- Cash

Investment vehicles/wrappers can consist of the following (not exhaustive) list:

- SIPPs

- Workplace Pensions

- ISA’s

- GIAs

- Trusts

- SEIS’s

- Offshore Bonds

Will post mine in the coming days to get everyone's opinion. Putting everything together in a pie chart.

Happy rating!

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. When you say investing in property, do you mean a place to live of a place to rent?

Makes sense. Do you not class any equity in your current home as part of your portfolio?

No as its not something I could use in retirement. Why what are your thoughts?

Nice! Are you planning for your offshore mutual funds to act as your pension? Also do you use your ISA?

The offshore mutual funds diversification from all western assets. Don’t have an ISA but have a company pension plan.

Ah right ok. Was just thinking with the different ways you can access equity eg downsizing, remortgaging or selling you could consider those funds as an investment but that of course depends on your plans. If you plan to keep it in the family forever then that’s absolutely fine

Here's my portfolio. Doesn't include cash saved for property. Plan to sell some of my company shares to add to my property purchase next year

  • 1 month later...

No idea what mine is in real value, but an approximate would be:

Cash - 60-70%
Metals (gold silver) - 40-50%
Stock (3 in the red I refuse to sell & swing trades) - 10%

Sitting and waiting for a better stock market buying opportunity & saving up the funds.
I have 115k equity in the house, but I guess that does not count?
I am also waiting for cheaper property prices for an investment.
