No amount of virtuosity in the art of minting could save a Merkel coin from being ugly. There is a reason not even the Perth Mint has tried it. They'd be scared to lose their reputation overnight.

If the coin came before the books, no one had ever read the lord of the rings. I would take this coin personally with my best friend Stavros to Mount Doom just to be sure it meldet down.

As Raphael Maklouf said, every sculptor knows to avoid showing people's teeth on a sculpture. It is a really basic mistake, and he could hardly believe that the Royal Mint accepted the design.
