closed USA Liberty Cap Half Dime 1833 – Wonderful & Scarce! – Β£19 Posted – UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Yes, I know, it is painful!... πŸ˜©πŸ•³πŸͺ™

Were it not for that godforsaken hole this would be an all-round winner – and a pricey one at that! πŸ’°

Present in an otherwise marvellous grade for the type, this Liberty Cap Half Dime is a little belter! For those of us who can't look past the fact somebody has drilled a hole right through history, perhaps this isn't for you! To those who can still value the history, detail and age of this all-American treasure, on the other hand, look no further! βοΈπŸ‘€

Featuring what is arguably the most stoic and all-American reverse/obverse combination on any standard circulation silver coin minted within the USA, this wonderful little 5 cent speaks right from the heart of the American homeland! Dated 1833 I can only but imagine where this little kicker has been, be it in a southwestern saloon in Arizona or a retailer's register down in Alabama! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

With the exception of the numerical denomination, every single detail on this Liberty Cap 5 cent can be easily discerned and appreciated. This, in addition to the age and history of this coin, make the hole inconsequential in my eyes.

This Liberty Cap Half Dime 1833 is comprised of 1.35 g of .892 silver and has a diameter of 15.5 mm.Β I would encourage anybody who is interested in this coin to check the Numista reference page here:Β https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11135.html

The sale price of this little treasure is Β£19Β including Royal Mail postage to mainland UK.

Payment via bank transfer is preferred but PayPal friends and family will also be accepted.

Comment here or PM me to pick this gem up for yourself today! 🀠

Thank you! πŸ‘πŸ»

Poor liberty half dime no one wants her, I’ll give it a week and I’ll just buy it to put on my keys haha 🀣

I know mate, haha!

Not budging at this price though. Can sell a Davey Thaler and graded condoms on the forum but not a two hundred year old American coin! 🀣
