closed Electorate of Bavaria – 1 Konventionsthaler 1760 – Maximilian III Joseph – Utterly Stunning! – £150 Posted – UK 🇬🇧

Recommended Posts

🪙 For sale here is an absolutely gorgeous Bavarian Thaler from the Electorate of Bavaria of the German States! 🪙

Dated 1760, this 261 year old coin has a diameter of 40 mm and is comprised of a meaty 27.92 g of .833 silver! This beauty is known as 1 Konventionsthaler which features a bust of Maximilian III Joseph on the obverse and a crowned Madonna with child holding imperial orb and sceptre in front of a radiant sun on the reverse. This coin would have been a serious chunk of change back in the day! This was minted to be circulated in the Electorate of Bavaria of the German States.

The condition of this piece is simply wonderful! It is becoming increasingly harder to get these in grades like this. In addition to presenting well with significant retention of key details, there is a very appealing tone on both the obverse and reverse of this coin. This tone really comes to life when the coin is held in good, strong and natural lighting.

You can see this coin listed in the Numista catalogue here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces14906.html

Sale price is £150 including Royal Mail postage to mainland UK.

Payment via bank transfer is preferred but PayPal friends and family will also be accepted.

Comment here or PM me to pick this gorgeous chunk of history up for yourself today! 🤠

Thank you! 👍🏻
