AUCTION PROCEEDS ABOVE INITIAL COSTS OF ITEM BELOW TO GO TO PARKINSON’S UK.

This is easy-ish.

The auction starts now. It ends at 8pm (Greenwich) on Tuesday 22 June 2021. Last timed bid wins - any bid placed after 8pm (so 20.01 onwards) won’t count.

Postage may be additional (subject to the below).

No minimum bids - however, please ensure that you do not exceed the previous bid by more than £10 so that we can give this a good chance of raising as much as possible - please see below point 3., so that this makes sense!

Here is the interesting bit.

The item is the 2021 Queen's Beasts 1oz Silver Proof Completer Coin.

England play the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening - kick off is at 8pm. The auction ends as the game starts.

1. IF you are the winning bidder and England beat the Czech Republic, you pay me in full and I will donate the full amount over the initial cost to me (£92.50) and postage will also be paid by me.

2. IF you are the winning bidder and England do not beat the Czech Republic (they lose or draw), I will donate the full amount over the  initial cost to me (£92.50) plus a further £50.00 and you cover the cost of postage.

3. EVERYONE who places a bid agrees that they will donate £1 to Parkinson’s UK (if England draw or lose) or £2 to Parkinson’s UK (if England win).

4. Anyone who donates, please post your screenshots on this thread to confirm the donation has been made!

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY PLACING A BID, YOU ACCEPT YOU MAY NOT WIN THE ITEM BUT STILL HAVE TO DONATE TO PARKINSON’S UK AS ABOVE

Just a reminder (and for clarity) that only the amount bid OVER the cost of the coin (92.50) will be donated to charity. Additional donations arise via bids on the coin. I will also be paying for the postage IF England win.....

If the auction ends at 8pm tomorrow and is still £25.51, then the only money that goes to charity will be the bidding donations.

Please note that there will only be a single bidding donation required so you can bid as much as you want only only pay £2 if England win or £1 if England lose or draw.

Please do bid as this is a good cause and I will not be making any money. I normally end up donating a fair bit myself during these auctions!!

The point of this auction is to raise money and not make money.

Thanks.

You guys are amazing. My father in law was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and it’s a disease that I am hearing more and more about everyday. I saw first hand how debilitating a disease it is. it is heartbreaking when you experience it.

Donations to Parkinson’s UK will help with the development of treatment and care. Thanks to everyone for their bids so far.

Just under eight hours to go. I won't bump this again.

Let's raise some money - for sure I will be donating some of the £92.50 initial costs, but this depends on how much we do or do not raise!!!

This coin is ALSO available at the @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions and is already up to £165.00. Currently £90 is a total bargain for this lovely coin!!

Thanks in advance for all bids - I will share the final position at around 8pm tonight re what will happen if England win or lose/draw. The final results and my own donation will be then posted around 10.30 tonight.

THANK YOU!!!

Stunning, but in order to raise money we were working on a maximum of £10!!

I now regret that decision!!! In retrospect it was a bit daft.................

Let's leave it as NO MAXIMUM going forward and I will now donate an extra £20 myself on top of my final 'bill' in order to cover off any missed bids as a result.
