Keep stacking indeed!! :D It's kind of like a reverse bubble - when this one bursts prices are going to rocket I'd say!

Out of interest Sham, what spot price would constitute "rocket" in your eyes?

I have a figure in mind......

I think Silver @ 50GBP per oz would be amazing, and realistic in 5 years.

Oddly enough, that was the figure I had in mind.

Can't see it in 5 years though, I hope not, but 30 years would make me smile lots!!!

If it does happen in 5 years, it won't be stable and it's highly likely it won't last long enough to sell any of your silver. If you catch it on the way up, bonus, if you hold out then you'll be crying.

$50 / £30 will see alot of people sell out I think. Many people bought in the $40+ range and I'm sure they will be happy to just get their money back. Another crash could occur around or before that price. I bought most of my metals at $15, however didn't sell because I fell for the story of $100 an oz. I saw prices double in 5 months (bubble). Fingers burnt, lesson learnt. I'm hoping to sell at $40-$45 range, hope for a 50% decline, then buy twice as much. Will take at least 2-4 years to get to that stage again in my opinion. Silver was really overvalued, now it's really undervalued. Have to take advantage of the cycles. Although the industrial demand for silver will always increase, industry don't want high silver prices. The Silver Users Association will see to that. The likes of Tiffany & Co were instrumental in condemning the Hunt Brothers in 1980 because they want to sell their cheap tat for maximum profits. Even tomahawk cruise missiles contain 15-16kg of silver. The MIC don't want high silver prices either. However, supply and demand will eventually reign supreme. If there is an opportunity to cash out and make a nice profit, you have to take it.

You are correct no manufacturers want to pay high prices for their raw materials, you are also correct that supply and demand will eventually reign supreme.

What I like to see as a silver coin collector is the massive 75% increase in coin & bar purchases from 2012 to 2013.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

In the future Silver will be used in medicine according to a research scientist I know, it has anti biotic qualities and with anti-biotic's less effective every year the scientists are looking around and I kid you not Silver looks a good option.

Plus what about solar panels when the Gulf states start running low on oil, Saudi reserves are not as much as stated think of all them solar Panels with all that Silver in them.  Also as Africa advances good quality solar panels will be an option there too. As individuals have more money, because they know/can't  rely on the state having your own electricity means the state has less control.

All sorts of products, even socks with silver to prevent stinky feet are available. The future's bright. The future's silver.

I was pleased to see that demand for coins and bars have risen so much but a little disappointed at the Industrial Usage Figure - just goes to show the World wasn't out of recession last year - despite what the politicians tell us.

I think we are going to be in for a year of $18 - $20 (with occasional dips above and below) - one of the authors of the World of Silver Survey - Andrew Leyland - predicts that silver will average a price of $19 in 2014 - meaning that silver may drop further as the year progresses. He seems to think that people are still holding silver who may sell as soon as silver reaches a slightly higher level. Once these have been weeded out, a final base will be formed.

I believe this presents a great opportunity for those of us taking a 10 - 20 year view as we have a longer opportunity to purchase silver at current low prices.

I shudder to think what price silver would be at if it wasn't for guys and gals buying all those coins  :)

A silver maple under each armpit will leave you feeling fresh all day. Sunshine mint 1oz bars also make ideal pantyliners for that special lady.

Silver impregnated pants. Where can I get some?

I can sell you some. Be warned the larger sizes will tend to go "clink" a lot when you walk anywhere, but on the plus side, your pants could be worth more in the evening than when they were fresh on in the morning.
