Folks

Looking for a bit of help from those that bought the Australian Lunar 2oz Proof coin for 2016 ( Monkey) as I know a number of forum members took up the offer of getting the date run up to 2015 when these were reduced and via Siber-corner.de

The long and the short of the story is that they maintain that the COA was sent with the coin when this was issued to myself. However no COA was recieved, and beside taking into account myself being blind, senile or both, the package had no COA.

They maintain that all COAs have been issued, thus if this is the case the only other realistic  answer is that two must have been sent to someone else. I know this is a long shot but I would be grateful if anyone who did buy this coin does a quick double check to see if a duplicate COA was sent.- thanks

For the matter of Siber-corner's attitude to the whole affair? ........ Lets just say that I will never darken their doors again. Absolutely hopeless and fortunately over the 30 years I have been buying and selling coins they are the only German dealer that I have ever had any issues with.

Sorry AG, not me. I ordered 2 and received 2.

Surely you have a case for non-supply of goods although if you paid by bank transfer, I'm not sure where you stand. I have had two experiences with large German PM suppliers re: lost /damaged parcels; one has been totally unhelpful and refuses to refund until DHL admits liability, and one that refunded missing items immediately!

Thanks for looking and responding.

Yes, all very regretful I'm afraid. They seem to be totally confused on the matter and  initially kept asking me to look under the tray! (assume they were referring to the Perth Mint Case which I bought the year before!!!.) Since I have asked them to arrange postage and return for a refund they have gone to ground,

As you allude to, most dealers  (and from experience the Germans in particular) look to get this resolved ASAP as it is just not worth the bad publicity. It is one thing that some will swing the lead in respect of saying a coin was never delivered, but to inform them of a COA missing ?  - You would think that they would engage a bit of logic that it's not the MO of a conman in action is it !!!  LOL!
