Questions about 2013 sovereign presentation

I picked up this coin from my local pawn shop for a decent price as they were struggling to shift it. I’m pretty sure it’s in wrong style RM box but I wondered if any of the pros know, as it still has a genuine COA?

Also looking at the horses head I think it’s either getting a red spot or it’s been handled, anyone know if I should do anything about it, or sell as is?

I am sure this coin was handled and tested with acid somewhere on the rim if is coming from pawn shop. They have not any kind of respect for coins. But, if the price was good, it is a nice acquisition. Take it out and give her a bath in soapy water, use a cotton stick, be gentle, rinse with hot water and use a hair dryer to dry. Can help, can't hurt. And keep us updated. Cheers!

I did ask them about acid testing and they said they don’t put chemicals on the coin, however I’m not 100% convinced just because I can’t see what other way they’d test them.

Oooof not sure I’m confident enough to give it a soapy Bath, but I may give it a try, thanks!

could it perhaps be that dark spot at the top on the reverse?

I went with the soap and warm water Bath and gentle dab dry with a lint free  cloth and it’s actually done some good. It hasn’t quite removed the red Mark, but it looks great.

A big thank you to @Allgoldcoins for sending the appropriate box! I’m super happy to add it to my baby boys future ‘likely spend it on c**p when I’m dead or senile’ saving fund.
