I will try my best from memory lol I believe it was started by Inefficient Stacker on Youtube. The goal is to have 100 pieces of gold and you can pick whichever format you want. By the end it needs to total 5oz altogether I believe. I remember each piece needed to be 1/20oz if you divided up the total weight equally.

The reason for the challenge I don't quite recall

There will be quite a few on here who have more than 5 oz of gold, but probably not very many who have 100 or more separate pieces of gold (myself very much included).

I'd far rather buy the pieces of gold that I most wanted, for as low premiums as I could.

Aiming for say 1 kilo of gold could mean having 33 1 oz coins, for instance.  Or 1 big bar 😁

The 5oz is the minimum not the max, no reason you couldn't go for low premium and aim for 100 pieces simultaneously. Similarly the 1/20oz was not a rule but rather explaining how you would both hit 100 pieces and 5oz at the same time

I've acquired 40 x 1/25oz gold coins which amounts to about 50g or 1.6ozt so I am on my way!

Whilst this weight of coin is usually an inefficient way of stacking, I've maintained a £40.45/g average (£1258/ozt) by buying on the forum.

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

"There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money"

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

1/25 oz gold coins? I'm surprised you can see them at your age😉
