can anyone tell me if this gold bar is a real or counterfeit?

The hologram looks legit and the bar serial number matches the card.

the reason im suspicious is because the '1g' marking is farther from the heraeus logo than it is on other pictures of the heraeus bars. this is one of the pics i found online

No one's wasting time making 1 gram fake bars especially one that is far more complex than the standard bars (with hologram)

Considering how small the bar is, it has lots of detail on the Heraeus (DE) logo, plus the hologram on the Argor-Heraeus (CH) side.

I'd guess it's real.

FWIW, on this image of the bar on a certain German dealer's website "1g" marking appears to be in similar position to yours
