Small Salver tray

Good morning everyone. I’m new here so don’t beat me up too much if this is the wrong place to post😉. I bought this small salver tray, only because it has this cool engraving,  the other day. I can’t find the marks online anywhere. Any opinions or info on the mark, tray, design etc you all can offer would be great.

Thanks

Dan

Hi and welcome,

My initial thought is that it is a George II, possibly George III salver by Samuel Wood. I would need to look at it in more detail but use that as a starting point.

Great thanks for that. I was certain it was an L and not an S. Is there another type of picture angle that might help?
