Thanks @h103efa. I can’t say these fill me with excitement, can you? The Beatrix Potter series which started in 2016 still appears to be breeding like, er rabbits.

I’m also guessing the sixpence is more of the coins the RM were selling at Christmas because we traditionally put them in Christmas puddings. I nearly choked on the box though!

Then again, how can you follow up on the spectacular 3 Graces release? Coin addicts - after the high comes the low.

Thank you for providing this information. I thought that the Royal Mint had stopped the Peter Rabbit series with the coin issued in 2020?

The six pences may be interesting. Have gold ones ever been issued in the past as a stand-alone issue?

@GoodAsGold Technically the 50p Peter Rabbit series has finished, RM just cashing in with the less popular £5 coin.

Not sure what ti make of the 6 pence series.

Cant see them beating the 3Gs until the next one comes out - Gothic Crown or whatever! Though maybe the 2022 sovereign might be a bun fight for too if a special design.

Thanks my friend. I overlooked the £5 coin bit and automatically assumed it was another 50p one.

I’ve absolutely no idea when the next Great Engraver design will be out (having taken well over a year between the Una and Graces releases), but safe to say it will probably be after the smaller Mint’s and third party agents have released theirs again.

No Chris. I’ve only seen marketing for the silver sixpence at Christmas time in the past couple of years.

Noticed you are an Aylesburian Chris. Me too, born and bred. Mum still lives there, just on the outskirts in WT.

What a coincidence! I am also in WT, but can’t claim to be born and bred as I was born in Plymouth. Hence the username 😊
