2014 10 oz Koala - is it real

Hi all, new member here. Just got into buying silver and upto now only made a few purchases. Recently bought a Perth Mint 10 oz silver Koala but upon closer inspection i am forced to question the genuineness of it. The main reason been the look of how the leafs attach to the stem on the obverse . Pic of mine on top shows leaf attachment to stem in a very flat, cutoff manner whilst the pic on bottom shows attachment in a more organic manner. I have seen ones similar to mine all over but the one on the right i have seen advertising the coin on some reputable bullion sites; and unfortunately, i am unable to  find a pic on the Perth mint site. Any advice before i perform furtther tests.

I vote magnet test.

Having said that there are probably more lucrative coins

to counterfeit given similar effort is required for each

coin.

it does look slightly off above the word 'silver', where

the branch attaches to the end leaf. my taku doesn't

look exactly like it's original picture(I'm quite confident

that it's genuine)

The picture below yours is a stock image, it is made on a computer. You shouldn't use that as a reference.

This is a pic I found on gaisnville coins. It might be of use.

I think the chances of a 2014 10oz koala fake are currently quite slim.

Where did you purchase it from?

Agreed, I'd say 99.9% that's genuine.

I don't think any of the Perth mint larger coins have been copied in any significant quantity.

Unless anybody knows different?

Where did you buy it from? I stick to dealers to take the doubt out the equation. One of our sponsors Coininvest has it for sale currently, £130 plus delivery which is not bad as it is not under the margin scheme.

Considering what it's taken to get that coin on the shelf in Germany plus the vat on that coin that's an amazing price, what else can you buy in life with margins that small.

Just to muddy the water somewhat, the koala's left eye, (right as we look at it), looks different on the Gainesville coin, than the one in the stock image and the OP's picture

I think that is just caused by the angle the photo is taken at, hence the reflection looks slightly different?

I am pretty sure the stock images are not even photos, but computer renderings.
