COTR auction 19 today...

Silver 2oz NGC PF70 First Releases went under hammer for 930.

Gold 2oz NGC PF70 did not sell ('hidden reserve' was set at 19'950).

Price of the silver has really dropped. I wonder if we’ve reached a bottom and they will start ticking up now. I think sub £1k is a steal.

Yes agreed. Well, another reference point coming up in a week in the next TCC on Nov 28th. Nice to see the Una is consistently well loved. (not my coins, btw)

Just out of interest, has someone ever seen the Alderney 5 OZ Three Graces antique finished? There are all together 49 PR70 in the PCGS pop report, but i can't find even a picture.

Not really want one, but would be interesting. I saw them months ago in the pop report as i was looking for numbers of the Crown set. But since then never found a offer for the antique finished graces

Fell over this Antonio Canova statue of the three graces in the V&A last week. It really is a "work of art", so beautiful. I wish WW had used this version as the model for his coin.
