Hi,

Really sorry if there is a thread for this. I have looked but cant find anything. Where can I get hold of one of those silver forum silver rounds that I see so many of the forum members use as their profile pictures?

Im also a collector of metalor 100g silver and harmonics, so would appreciate if anyone knows where I can get great deals?

The rounds are hand made by Backyard Bullion. I think some are produced every year. They do appear for sale from time to time in the for sale section.

 

Best deals are usually in the for sale section aswell.

Thank you for your interest in the TSF branded bars. The TSF hand poured branded bars are produced by @BackyardBullion. They are very limited.

The 2021 ones have not been released yet.

How it works is that members with the previous years numbers have the first refusal to get the same COA numbered bar / round as the previous years. For those who decide not to take up their number this year for whatever reason, then the surplus are sold to those that are interested, it’s done on a sort of raffle basis so that all the new people enquiring have the same possibility to be able to by one. This is the fairest way, but unfortunately due to the demand not everyone will be able to get one.

Different Premium Member groups get a discount on the bars.

@BackyardBullion may be able to confirm the estimated date of when we are likely to start seeing the 2021 versions of these. 

You can try to put up a wanted post in the trade section to see if any members have one that they are willing to sell

What's the likelihood of new premium members getting a shot at grabbing one? 

If there are only X number produced and first dibs goes to existing people, how do you get new members who have supported the forum financially via membership in on the game?

Last year there were about 20 available after the presale with about 50 people in the raffle to get one

From speaking with BYB, who said it’s OK to post this info. He is planning to release the different TSF 2021 products in April, August, November, December.

We are also working on a new TSF branded product that we first started to discuss last year. We haven’t finalised the details of that yet so haven’t announced it yet.

But there should be a good chance for everyone to be able to have a chance to be able to buy some branded TSF bar/round. And if not there are always some members each year who are willing to sell theirs.

I just think if you have a production of say 300 or whatever now, but you've had say 400 new premium members join, then might be a good idea to increase the number produced a little so people can jump in and be part of forum support.  Selling 500 is better than 300 (I know there are other issues to consider like costs, lack of take up and so on).

You know where I stand on other things, so I'm all up for supporting the forum financially as I genuinely believe it's a great place.

We have thought about increasing the mintages on these products, but part of the appeal is always the low mintage and demand. 

I see sales on the forum a lot for our bars and they tend to sell pretty quickly which is a good thing for those that buy.

We are adding new and different products which allows people to get involved and support the forum too - so there are plenty of opportunities to do so.

I would prefer to buy one off the forum when they are released for sale, so that the forum gets some cash, rather than eBay and PayPal lol

What about a generic 1oz  round where orders are taken monthly limited to x-number of rounds per month/member. Same design all year every year.
