Hello!

I just thought I'd introduce myself.  I go by NJ and I started stacking in early January, fortunately before the WSB "squeeze" posts.  

I have a background and finance and economics, and for the last 15 years have shrugged off precious metals as not worth it.  Then I had a conversation over dinner with a family friend who is a VP of commercial banking at a large regional bank.  I expressed my frustration with where to put my money given inflated asset prices and we started talking about gold and silver.  Later that night I did some serious investigation and began reading a few books.

It's been about six weeks since that conversation, and I have already made five different purchases.  My YouTube subscriptions are filled with precious metal content creators.  And I refresh my shipment tracking page 100x per day when I know something is arriving.  Needless to say, I've become quite obsessed!

Current premiums have put me on the sidelines for the time being, but I'm looking forward to growing my silver stack again soon!  I might be making my first gold purchase given premiums seem a bit more manageable at the moment. 

I'm looking forward to engaging with the community here.
