Anyone like toning with your Britannias?

One assumes this has been tampered with. Gawd knows how you could have stored a 2014 coin to get this effect.

It looks like it has been vaulted in mud at the bottom of a boating lake for a year for safe keeping

some natural toning can be nice, this one is too 'in your

face' for my liking.

Defo fake toning for me

I carry a 2012 britannia in my pocket and that has toned over time .. But that is just browning

Its just a reminder of what real money is and a talking point when comparing it to a £2 coin

I keep a £20 for £20 coin in my wallet.

It arrived through the post on the day my dad died, so it's just a bit of a momento.

Over the last 20 months, it hasn't toned but has got a bit scratched.

I like toned coins, but this artificially not so much.

Not a fan. I like my coins pristine and shiny. Not really sensible considering that natural toning is just "what happens" over time, but if it can be avoided, I'd rather it was.
