Hello, quick question.

2014 Horses 300,000

2015 Sheep 188,888

2016 monkey 138,888

Now providing the last mintage was not a typo and is meant to be 188,888, does anyone know what future mintages will be?

Being a shameless cynic I imagine RM think they can reduce it every year and hike up the premium as people have to complete the series :)

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

Or does it mean there is no way they can compete with Perth Mint?

I've committed to the RM Lunar series so I just hope it takes off, as a newbie stacker I never saw the point of chasing early Perth Mint Lunar series coins and paying the hefty premium on the early ones when the RM Lunar series has not long started to I can buy these and hope they end up as popular in 8 years time especially as they are near typical bullion prices so hopefully I can be the one collecting on the premium rather than having to pay it.

The official figures are rather vague though, between silver and gold, bullion and proofs, no two sites seem to quote the same figures which is a little disconcerting.

I got some of the horses for my daughter because she likes horses but I skipped the sheep. I may opt for the monkeys though. I keep seeing all sorts of different ones I like so sometimes I just choose whatever catches my eye that day.
