Forum rules on selling silver by way of auction?

Recommended Posts

Hello.  I thought I have seen auction style selling before.
I am not sure what the rules are, if any.

Sure, I could just place my item up for sale straight up, but I am not in a great hurry to sell, and I am not greedy.
I wasn't even thinking about selling it when I went through the headache of buying one, but after the Mint once again gave me a headache, I don't have much love for them.

So...  the item will be the silver v75 eagle (unopened).  Sorry, I will not open it in case a buyer wants to get it graded.
Any help would be great.  I would be open to having anyone bid...  but overseas winner would have to cover some postage.

Thoughts and considerations?

I prefer not to use FeeBay... already a bunch on there as it is.

You are free to list an auction style listing. Please clearly state your terms.

You may find this recommended listing template useful:

I believe the item you are looking to sell was and is popular. However, I am not sure if there is or isn’t enough USA buyers on the forum to provide for a successful auction listing. And it may be best to put up a standard style listing with a price, feel free to state a higher price and invite offers. But feel free to start an auction if you prefer, though I would advise to start it at a price you are willing to accept incase it only gets one or a few bids. As no hidden reserves are allowed.

I am not sure if @CadmiumGreen was still looking for a V75 ASE or not. But I’ve tagged him in, incase he is so he can reach out to you.
