Released today. Correct me if I am mistaken but I think this is the first 5oz HR kangaroo? 1750 mintage.

Anyone planning on collecting these? @morezone ? My budget can't stretch to the 5oz series at the moment, so I am just collecting the 1oz. But those look great even in 1oz so the 5oz must be spectacular.

I think I'm going to drop the high relief line in both 1oz and 5oz. I can pretty much guarantee I'm going to lose value on them based on the low sales figures.

I've been increasingly disappointed with every HR coin I've seen from the PM. The designs just don't look right when translated into HR IMO. I much prefer the standard relief coins in lunar, kooks etc.

I bet they will look spectacular! but until the perth mint sorts out its high premium coins milk spotting too much of a gamble IMO.

I didn't know of any milk-spotting issues on the HRs. Where did you see this, YT video?

If the 1oz HR series keep going, in 10, 20 years time they might be extremely popular, and the early releases now with low mintages might make them command a nice premium when collectors come to backdate their HR kook run etc.

No I have never seen it, but the 2 oz lunar proof set have spotted. Maybe the HR manufacturing process is a bit different.
