closed A sixpence piece (for a superstitious bride)

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm looking for a pre-1920 sixpence piece for my fiancé for our wedding coming up in just over a month's time. I'm assured they are meant to bring luck and prosperity in marriage and given the way things have been going I suppose we will need all the luck we can get!

I'm not after anything immaculate, but reasonable condition would be preferred.

Please make a superstitious bride happy and hopefully bring us some luck on our wedding day and beyond.

I have a few sixpences from the early 1800s I was saving for Christmas (1816, 1817, 1819, and unknown). But I would be delighted to help out if I can - a happy bride means a happy life, and all that.

They are highly tarnished, but would probably clean up well. I think one is an off-cut from a charm bracelet.

PM me if you are interested (please forgive my poor photography skills).
