Scottsdale silver bar weighs 31.54 gram is this to heavy to be real

Just bought a 1 oz silver scottsdale bar was very tarnished when received in post so tarnish was removed I then weighed it and its weighing 31.54 gram I would like to know if this weight is satisfactory or if its most likely a fake thanks did buy from bullionforless.co.uk

Measure its dimensions paying particular attention to thickness.
Ignore any rim if protruding.
Fakes tend to be underweight and also measurably thicker than real bars.
Overweight by 1% for a bar is not a problem but 1% less would merit a SG test if worried.

If you are using home use scales sometimes you can get incorrect readings. 

Our BV bars can sometimes be tarnished, I'm sorry you don't feel happy with it. If you want to I can replace it with a best Value coin, we don't have any bars in stock atm.
