Are these Silver?

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests, and I'm sure the more experienced or even the less experienced will know straight away and I'm just being thick but I was given these years ago and they have lay in a drawer ever since. It's only recently when I've started to get interested in precious metal that I wondered about them.

Silver or not I still think they are pretty cool coins.

As always any help is very much appreciated.

Its easy to tell the difference visually between the silver proof and the cupro nickle ones. I have a large number of them sitting in my stack box.

Looking to purchase Sovereign Scales/Rocker/Balance. Feel free to Pm me at any time. Also prepared to pay a small finders fee for any scales spotted in your local antiques shops, send me a pic, and if it's one I'm interested in, I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement. :)
