The website will undoubtedly crash.I mean at this point its basically free money if you can get one at retail assuming the mint has not increased prices massively. (though forget the 2oz gold you wont be getting one of those unless you have a personal sales rep at the mint)  good luck everyone!

They could bump up mintages too

I'd be amazed if they didn't massively ramp up numbers plus grade plenty. But then we all talking about RM so who knows!

It will be interesting to see which coin they do. I've been having a think and the best two would be the 1910 crown and 1935 jubilee crown. Both were minted in gold and silver. The gold in both are almost at Una levels.

They might like the publicity and headlines  a few low mintage coins bring, so hopefully they don’t ruin it for themselves. They need more modern coin collectors to keep their business going I feel.

I like the 1910 better But it’s also very similar to the Pistrucci. The 1935 looks like it was drawn by an architect but it is very different.

Lets see what they come up with 😉

True but it has a certain 30s charm. I can't think of any others that could come close to Una in respect of demand.

1847 gothic crown perhaps? It’s another William Wyon of course, so maybe not, but there’s no denying the beauty of it’s design. They would have to do both sides mind you. Definitely one of my favourite coin designs.1E96C229-349A-4707-87F3-F2EA540FA5DA.thumb.jpeg.05433c1dc638d9de3361dda482977cf6.jpeg

The 1910 is a great design, not sure i've seen that before, a good candidate.  The 1935 on the other hand is on thousands of crowns on ebay.

Is there a list of those considered "great engravers"?

Oh, they could do a two coin set of this, since Liz will need to be on the other side. Just imagine the demand!! Plus you could display both sides at the same time.

I should get a job at RM 😂

Yes, i’m sure there would be a nice “FREE display case” to go along with them haha.
