Is now the time to stack? I might have FOMO

I've started stacking again (after selling all I had several years ago when the price was dropping like a stone 😐 ) and I've got less than 50 ounces. Is now the time to buy with the price going up at an alarming rate? Or should I wait to see what happens?

Absolutely time to buy when you have enthusiastic sellers lined up queuing to take your money.
What would you like and what are you prepared to pay ??

Depends on your end goal, situation and income I guess. Do you want to have silver/gold to protect your money from inflation? Do you want to invest in pm long-term until retirement? Do you have enough savings on the side so you will never have to sell your pm in case of an emergency?

The price just fell back in a way that seems to say its going to rise further..its like asking if gambling is ok right now, its all a gamble, id say if you sold before could you sell there again and if so how much did you get, is it worth stacking to sell for the same percentage next time?, if your just investing then save up and buy an etf with your money, you know the cost and the sell, no collection thrill or prepper kick but its a set and easy way in and out.

I'm thinking of using PMs as a hedge against inflation due to all the money printers going BRR at the moment. I have enough savings that I won't have to sell PMs in an emergency. And long or short term is fine as long as I can either make a profit of some sort or at least not lose anything.

And I no longer have FOMO. I got that under control!

I'm using PMs as an inheritance. I know exactly the average price per ounce, per coin and it is tucked away for the grandkids labelled The Emergency Fund, not to be opened until Armageddon.

But it will never be opened....they have been told by Grandad not to trust adults 😉

With all the government borrowing, massive debts and the damaged economies with more bad news still to come, how many years will it be before the tax collectors ( robots probably ) come knocking and ask you to hand over your stash ? Keep it well hidden !!

I dont get emotionally attached to pieces of tin (well, except my Rover 75s). I buy them third hand, run them into the ground and bin them. Current piece of tin as a run about is a 15 year old Honda Jazz. Boot doesn't unlock. Ignition is dangling and needs two keys to start it. :-). I won 't spend good money on a rapidly depreciating asset.

The Rover 2000, the working man's Rolls Royce. A brilliant car.

I think they may well run into a problem with most metal detectors. We are talking with the local Council to develop some land so we can self build our forever home using steel shipping containers. 🙂

Lol! Those were the days, it didn't matter if you had an MOT or insurance, all that mattered was Tax.

Remember, this is before the Police had SCMODS
