Dealer Advice

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well.

I have a question around buying from the following 2 dealers:

CelticGold

Coininvest

Does anyone have any experience or advise on these two companies please?

Also if importing into into the UK what additional charges would I expect to pay? I have checked on the customs site but it said there were none?

Again, any advise greatly received,

I have used CelticGold. No issues. Items arrived well packaged and on time. No additional charges were applied as the goods were coming from another EU country.

Both are quite commonly used, I am yet to buy from Coininvest.

I’ve used coininvest and their sister company silver to go. In both cases They were professional, gave fast service and good prices on some items.

The VAT/import charges are a non issue as these are European dealers so you pay whatever the local rate is in that country and then there are no further charges to pay in the UK as they come in already tax paid - more info here:

All bets are off from 2021 onwards until we have clarity of what the post brexit regime looks like for VAT and silver imports.

happy stacking!
