Bond, James Bond 2020 UK Quarter-Ounce Gold Proof Coin.

I’m putting this coin up for Auction now.

Owned by myself since new from the Royal Mint. See pics!

Bidding starts at £507 (minimum bidding increment is £2, no maximum increment). The auction ends at 8.30pm on Sunday 26th July 2020.

Comes complete with all R.M packaging and COA as per the photos.

Payment is to be made via BACs bank transfer. I’m including Special Delivery within the final price paid.

Right, so after some enquiries I’ve decided to remove the capsule and take 4 photos (2.4x zoom on last years 📱 iPhone).

It’s still not great but maybe better than the Russian roulette you play with the Royal Mint 😂 

If anyone can guide me to a photography course or best way to photo a coin like I see elsewhere please let me know. I’m trying not to get reflections etc. 🤦‍♂️

Last bump by me before close of this auction at 8.30pm tonight.

Same coin in CC’s auction is currently £550! Will be interesting to see what that ends at. Might give you a guide 😉

I had organised a party on Sat night for my daughter & ran a v boozy disco in the garden till 11 & then Boxier karaoke till 2:15am 

sunday was a sore headed One & I completely forgot but what a nice surprise 

the CoinCabinet auction had some serious bidding for the larger James Bond pieces but I am not in that market . Fascinating though.

Turn the flash off on the camera. Do by daylight so don’t have reflection of the light bulbs on coin. Natural lighting better, or could try a defuser, a light diffuser.
