Started Collecting Silver and Gold Coins last year, would like to think of myself as a stacker, but in truth like most people starting i have probably paid well over the odds 😞

 

so thought i would take some time to learn 🙂

Price is funny thing... I remember buying kilo bars at €535 I thought that was really expensive.   Look at the last few months and what is yet to come....

€100 an ounce silver will come and you'll look back on this post and laugh.

That feeling of having overpaid is so common. Been there, done that. A year later it starts to feel like an asset again even if the price went down. It will go up again in the fullness of time!

i have ordered some LightHouse QuickSlabs to store my coins, has anyone else used these ? i have tried various storage methods but not quite hit on the most suitable, i like to sit down with my grand kids and discuss History etc , its quite enlightening when you Google the date and discuss who might have had this coin in there pocket 😀

History mixed with silver and gold, if a kid cant get interested in that then whats the world coming to?

When i started on silver it was during the rise to the heavens, i have paid over $40 for some pieces now worth $25 but thankfully i started off small and buying in the dips has drawn my average down to under $17 for stackers and my premiums have stayed put or nicely jumped like black beard. The moon, sun and earth, kilo and others...im up but it took buying some hounds for pedigree prices to learn.
