The kookaburra is an ongoing and popular series and a lot of people like the fact that there are 30 years worth of coins to collect. I've never seen the prices for these come down significantly. Being an established series means people have confidence that it will continue in the foreseeable future. I have noticed though that sets of any coins tend to take a long time to sell. Most collectors prefer to purchase individual coins rather than a complete set. It's the thrill of the hunt.

The swans are proving popular at the moment and this is reflected price wise. They have the potential to become a good investment if they continue....

Maybe have a look at the wedge tailed eagle series of coins too. Prices are increasing but earlier issues (2014 - present) are still to be found at reasonable prices.

OR collect what appeals to you and see how it goes.

Kooks are a great series, but I'm partial to Koala's.  Guess I'm a rare duck.

Actually like the Panda design  too, but will not give China anymore money than possible (a simple act of rebellion.)

+1 on the Wedge-Tailed Eagles!

Kooks seem to do well.

I've placed a bet on Korean Tigers becoming a successful series. Got the silver 2018 and 2019. 2020 design just released.

On ebay Germany you can get Kooks for a little over spot, unlike pandas or Perth Mint issues. Don't think they will ever increase much in value.

thx amigo
