Hi all,

I've been wondering which one will be the better deal.

1989 Tudor Rose Proof double PF69 for 1200 vs 2018 Piedfort Proof for 800ish?

The 1989 is a lovely coin but omg the price.

What do you think of them both?Hopefully I will gain some knowledge from you.

That sort of money stick to proof 70 and wait for a sale or drop and gold price.

Both are on my list but I'm not buying at all time highs.

When spending that much it is best to go for pf70 as there is effectively no price ceiling just a price floor. A pf69 or lower by its nature sets a price floor and ceiling. From my view as a collector with a keen eye on value they seem highly priced.
