"The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. But if you want to continue as the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and to control credit."

The most important bit about "FIAT" money system - from the article! 🙄😏

Others have since been arrested for similar crimes, but the financial world is hardly free of manipulation.

Actually he was quite a nice bloke, never afraid to put his hand in his pocket and get a round in - in a country I might add where it was not unusual at the time nor today for a half pint of larger to cost £15.00 in an average bar not an upmarket expensive or a pretentious posh bar but like the average local U.K. pub, yes I've met him - I'm actually in the movie starring Ewan McGregor about him for all of about 30 seconds, we both used to hang out in the same bars, and drink together - ''Hardrock Cafe'', ''Anywhere'' and ''The Next Page'' where our favourite pubs.  What happened to Barings Bank was not entirely his fault, but he took all the blame, granted he also took all the credit when things where going good, but he was made to take all the blame when things went sideways.  His ex wife was the real nasy piece of work, she dropped him as fast as she could for the latest flavour of the monh trader, she screamed ''gold digger trophy wife'' from a thousands yards out.
