Advice on coin collection

Sorry if it's in the wrong section 

Is anyone a general coin expert

My nan has passed away a few months ago  and i have got hundreds of coins dating from 1788 to present day 

Just some examples please message if you can help

Moved to non precious metal coin section since the majority may be base metal.

Forgot to add.  The selling/trade section is for the sale of things.  Advice falls into the discussion area.  I have no idea on any of the items but it can be moved to a different section once more info on them is found.

in fact to give you a "hint" - I have a "MINT, PROOF" example - I would ONLY SELL for £300 upwards!

I think also the off-side rule 50p is one of the harder ones to come by.

I would guess some of the older ones may be silver and some may be rarer but the older stuff is not my best area.
