Pretty sure you asked this on two of my youtube videos and I will reply with the same thing I replied there.

"That seems a very high price and has no room for additional profit I think. So no, I would say not."

In my opinion that is an absurd price, 680 euros is around £615... I have seen them for sale here for around £450. Paying that amount is foolish. Does it have room to increase? yes, but it could be a very long time!

thanks
i have decided not to buy it and wait for a better offer

Yes it does seem a bit steep - the context I suppose I would place it in,  is that the 2016 lion is available currently for around £560, and from what I can gather, that is the one from the series that is demanding the highest premium.

For gold in general yes, price will increase

For the coin in question nope, the potential is limited due to high starting point.

There are some 1/4 oz Australian lunars series 1 on local market with price around £440 (tiger and dragon). And I'm still not sure that I should buy them. However both are something of rare in that series. Why I'm writing that here? As for me queen beasts pretty similar series. Very popular and hyped right now, but could lost popularity and value over time. That why I personally wouldn't pay such money for 1/4 oz bullion coin.
