uncirculated coins achieving uncirculated grades

my interpretation of uncirculated coins especially from

the royal mint to literally mean coins that have not

circulated.

an uncirculated graded coin is a coin that is graded

ms62 to ms65 and can be circulated as long as it's

not worn to grade below ms62.(in fact many unc.

graded coins have circulated/have wear otherwise

they would grade higher than ms65 if they came

directly from the mint.)

then there's uncirculated/bullion coins such as the

999 britannias that have marks or nicks from the

mint, which will reduce their appeal. does uncirculated

in this case mean a mixed bag of grades in a lucky

dip?

any opinions?
