I bought all the rest of the QB between £40-£60 is there a reason the Griffin is at such a high premium ?

Yes you can buy all the Beasts for around £40 - £50 approx each except the first two coins the Lion and the Griffin.
The Griffin is currently the most expensive coin in the series and I guess it's all about the numbers and availability.

I've sold around 15 of these all at market prices and £70 is a bargain at the moment.

Yes I agree, 70 pound for a Griffin in good condition is a good price, and they do sell at most of the big dealers for a lot more, that's if you can find them in any of the dealers that is! The first Lion, which is the Lion of England from 2016, is also quite difficult to find, and would sell a little less than the Griffin, maybe around 10 pounds less, so if you can get these for 55 to 60 pounds then you are doing o.k.
