Before Covid - 19

Hello,

Just a quick topic:

What was the standard Prem on Coins before covid - 19 because all the information I'm getting is that Prem was alot lower than now?

Just wondering if new stackers and or collectors should wait for a little bit to get better prices ?

 

Any advice and or comments welcome.

A year ago basic bullion, Brits, Krugs, were ~22% premium. Today looking at 45% from same dealer

That’s a massive hike up, any ideas when they’ll drop the premium again ?

I'm a bit wary and think the higher premiums can potentially stay with us till the end of the year.

You can still pick.up at decent prices be it here on the forum or from dealers special offer pages. 

Just be patient and the they will pop up now and again

It is an excellent time to do some coin book reading.  I am ploughing through Marsh and the Bowers book on Morgan dollars.

Yeah sounds good, atm I've just been getting things ready for my future purchases with things like scales, magnets and the usual stuff.

My problem with reading Marsh is, I want to buy expensive Sovereigns.💰
