I know there are a few people not happy with the finish on the 10oz Koala but ive just noticed STG have this on at £127.27.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't see a link to it.

they have had a special on the 10oz koala for a while now. the prices are good at the moment so bought 21oz yesterday.

I got a 1oz to compare against the 10oz koala I already have

10 oz goat looks very cheap aswell!. I was considering getting one but stuck to a couple of 2 oz and 1/2 oz goats. instead

Yeah the 10oz Koala is a good buy for stacking, not so good for flipping though.

I have bought quite a few of these since STG have been going. I also have a few 10oz Lunars and 10oz Kooks. If you are adding weight they are a great way to go, a Perth mint coin at a low price.

The Koala doesn't seem to have the same following as the Kook or Lunar. In my mind the best bet medium term must still be the Lunar.

I don't understand why Numistacker, I'm picking up the Koala 1/2 & 1oz coins as far back as I can get. I'm enjoying all the Perth coins - possibly with the exception of the Funnel Web Spider.

lunar is number one and you only need to look at the price history and between the kooks etc the koalas are not as popular for some reason and the new stuff nobody knows but my guess is not a great long term premium.

I monitor lots of the conversation on you tube and Google+ and I can't remember the last time Koala got a look in. It seems that chit chat is a reasonable measure of interest. But hey what do I know ?

My money would be on Lunar and Panda and apart from rare proofs i would not be investing in kooks either.

The thing is Silverballs if you are buying for stacking with the view to sell quickly buy cheap as you can and the 10oz koala meets that remit it also is from the Perth mint.  If you want to sell on ebay buy it now taking 1-2 months to sell a single coin then buy pandas.

I'm in this for the next 20+ years Pipers. I've just started picking up Pandas as well though with a view to flipping some along the way.

Generally, I'm buying what I like at the moment rather than having a fixed goal although I'm sure that will develop in time.

so just to simplify

you confirm order after checkout

then they send you a ref for your order via e mail with their bank acc and sort code

and i can then go to hsbc with the reference for paying in

yes craig, they will send you an invoice with their bank details on. I pay through HSBC all the time and no problem

Just to let you know for the future my new bank (who is fine with me buying bullion unlike HSBC) has advised me not to send money on  Fridays into the Eurozone and to wait until Mondays.

is this to do with the exchange rate? my bank never gives me tips like this. which bank do you use?

if any euro issues explodes over the non trading weekend then

your euros have had it. the same with trading shares, some will

rather sell before the unpredictable weekend.
