Morning all, I’m quite new to buying gold And new to the forum so I’m after a bit of advice. I’ve seen this set for sale on eBay and it has caught my eye, it consists of a full proof sovereign, a half and a quarter. How much would you value this set to be worth? Thanks for your time.

I don't think its got any collector value so maybe £620.00 that's giving a decent premium on the gold price

Hattons are still trying to flog them at £900.00 which like all such things is way over priced

You’re welcome.  Just to add to what I said above, my personal opinion is that the offical RM Sovereigns are a continuing part of history and will always have that appeal, besides the striking standard of RM proof gold coins is usually very good, so rather than spend money on some 1/4 oz coins that are termed “sovereigns”, it’s just better to go for the real deal. 🙂
