Silver casting grain

I buy mine from The European Mint but it is usually only sold on a 20kg minimum order.

Baird and Co in the UK are another good option.

@ilovesilverireallydo has a contact that is able to supply too.

Hello, Has there been any change in the price you are selling silver grain at?

When you say at normal times you can supply at reasonable price can you tell me what price you would consider reasonable please? I have brought 2kg at 55p per gram (new to this and it was the cheapest I could find).

Thanks in advance

I've just had an email from the European Mint - they are now able to source their Fine Silver Granules with a minimum order of 10KGs.

EM website is quoting EUR18.06 for 1OZT (not sure if that is correct currently). https://www.europeanmint.com/1oz-999-fine-silver-grain/

I could be temped to group buy if enough interest?

Im new around here so not sure of the official proceedings but happy to arrange.

Thanks

Oops... That wouldn't be cheap.

Assuming it is over 10kg weight then the shipping would be €150

Most of that is insurance which is pretty much a must have when you order in that quantity.

My quick maths make it about £16.20 per oz delivered for an order of 10kg

@BullionBarber

It is still a high premium over spot price, but probably some of the cheapest silver out there - assuming you have the capabilities to buy 20kg plus in one go!

My reason for buying would be to pour at home.

@BackyardBullion What is your goal for premiums? Are you able to share what % or value you look for when buying silver for your home pouring business?

Also, how are your stocks levels of silver shot? 😁
