Oh right, if all you have to go by is a picture, I would say no, I am no expert in British trade dollars but the overall appearance looks grainy, uneven wear, the fields should definitely be smooth and the strike should be sharper, as I say, i am no expert in British trade dollars but if all you have is a picture, I would say it is a risk

All the fakes I have seen have been out on weight although there amy well be better ones around now.

A good question. I gave up collecting them because of the fake problem and getting to grips with their rarity and value. Over £100 isn't uncommon.

My Grandparents passed this on to me, it pings like real, Surprised no chop marks.
