Canada Wildlife Series 1

Hi all,

Has anybody got the full set of 6?

I always said I wasn't going to due to price and milk spots, but a set came up at a price I couldn't pass up on.

They are all milk spot free, whether they stay that way is a gamble I guess.

But it's another set added to the stack.

I actually really like the designs on the coins having looked very closely at them.

I have sets, caps and boxes to display them.

I intend to sell boxed sets once silver has doubled in price and gets near to the spot when I actually bought them.

Yes I remember you mentioning that Pete.

I managed to grab mine for under £20 a coin delivered, so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Assume yours have remained spot free?

May I ask what display cases you got?

Well done on the price.

My cases are from Germany but I believe CoinInvest also offers them.

Not brilliant but better than a homemade effort.

You need special capsules to fit the slots - Airtites are too large.

I intend to print an insert card once I have mastered Photoshop type app but time is tight these days.

Yes Pete, I have seen that box before, it's real nice.

I can't seem to find them anywhere now though, I'll stick to my usual storage solution.

CI have some lovely boxes, but they ain't cheap. I'd probably have gone for the kook one but it doesn't fit the original square capsules.

Too many boxes would annoy me. I like the idea of just stashing the proof boxes away somewhere and then putting coins in the lighthouse case. I think that will end up being the nicest way to display, a few of those lighthouse cases.

I have a couple of the wildlife series, can't remember which ones, the ugly wood bison for sure and than I think I have 1 other. I have no intention to collect the set, unless an amazing deal like the one Danny just picked up came around.

Danny, your going to end up with so many different sets, because of the way you collect, you will be the guy with the largest variety of 1oz coins. They are going to make for some nice photos!

Yes mate, I'll stick to the aluminium case I think.

Was a good deal off SS. I made a cheeky offer and he was happy with it. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise, and he sent me hi-res pics so I could check for spots.

It's posted now, so should arrive next week. Awesome.

I hope I end up with a nice collection, I'm enjoying collecting and hopefully it will increase in size over the next 12 months.

I think I have 4 of them with my bullion coins and last time I looked they didn't have any milk spots :)

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

I have a moose and a cougar - they are a little worse for wear as they were delivered to me in a zip lock baggy! But on the up side - no milk spots.

I have heard that their premium products rarely develop spots as they use a different manufacturing process - is this accurate?

Think so Sham, the spotting of the WS1 seems less prevalent than with the maples.

Looking forward to receiving them now.

Nice Fantom, although I'm not a fan of colour coins.

My ones don't have spots either, which is great news.
